“Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.”
– Hal Borland
Welcome back to APT Insights, the last one of 2021! For the last few months, we have been sharing content that we have seen, heard, or read recently and deem worth passing along. We have some great year end tidbits to share this month! We hope you enjoy watching, listening, and reading some of our favorites finds, as shared here below.
December is one of our busiest months. It probably is for you too, right? With the holidays to prepare for, end of year wrapping up, and new year readying… there is hardly enough time to watch, listen, or read anything! We’ve made these recommendations brief, with the hopes that you can squeeze them in between meetings, to-do list tasks, and holiday happenings!
WATCH
Short talks to watch during your coffee break
These TED Talks are just long enough to enjoy without taking up too much time. Short little videos but still providing enough of a pick me up!
We really enjoy this one about how to make the most of meetings…and fitting in your steps for the day! Make time for meetings and movement!
LISTEN
If you read our blog post last month about strategic planning for the coming year, you will have picked up on how integral your team is in helping you reach goals.
This podcast bodes well with the few tips we offered on how to keep your employees in the know, motivated, and accountable.
Donald Miller is one of our favorites! He is a very down to earth guy and provides advice based on first hand experience. This episode is a good one! If you like him here, check out some of his other podcast episodes or books.
