Abby Keyton, PT, DPT

Founder & CEO

Abby Keyton founded APT Management Solutions in 2020 as a therapy management and consulting company to further inspire and empower owners, directors, and managers to lead their teams with a greater level of confidence and passion. Her mission is to create a space where managing a therapy practice is not only rewarding but fun. She is very passionate about the services and solutions she has developed and implemented as she stays committed to seeing therapy practices flourish.

Abby Keyton has always had a passion for helping people (and animals) while also leading others to be able to do the same. While growing up in Ohio, her main focus was always pushing herself to be the best version possible while making sure those around her were doing the same. Granted, most of the early focus was on being the best soccer player possible to help her team, but this developed a high level of self motivation which pushed her to graduate with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Walsh University in 2011. The leadership, communication, and problem solving skills learned along the way are the likely qualities that directed her clinical career into management. Abby took on her first management position as Clinical Director in 2012 while working under Brian Gallagher, founder & CEO of MEG Business Management. She quickly took on more and more responsibility leading to positions of Quality Director, Chief Operations Officer, and Regional Manager. The experience, knowledge, and skills learned while working in these positions have been invaluable throughout her career.

Since 2017, Abby Keyton has been working with therapy clinics throughout the country in direct support/management roles to improve business operations and directly assist with personnel management and training. While not in a direct clinical position throughout this time, she stays close to these roots by viewing each clinic as a “patient” needing a developed and constantly updated plan of care. Utilizing metrics and close relationships with clinic personnel, she is able to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing a clinic she works with. This has led to implementation of new systems and structure resulting in increased profit and staff/patient satisfaction.
